What I have done since I last wrote a post:
Had dinner at friends’ houses twice
Had friends over for dinner once
Hung out the wash 5 times
Made breakfast, lunch and dinner almost every day
Saw Much Ado About Nothing in in a tent in Vancouver with daughter and 2 grandchildren
Browsed the Anthropology Museum at the University of British Columbia with daughter and grandchildren
Watered vegetables and flowers and harvested squash, beans, beets, cucumbers and tomatoes
Drove 2 hour drive to Whidbey Island for family dinner with daughter, son-in-law 5 grandchildren, visiting daughter-in-law, grown grandson and wife and great-grandson and Jerry
Varnished 15 picture frames that Jerry made for my upcoming show, put the pictures in the frames with hanging hardware.
Signed all the pictures for the show and finished 2 of them.
Played Mah Jongg 3 times. Didn’t win.
Cleaned the rental apartment 3 times after visitors and renters.
Walked the dogs with Jerry every day.
Hung the show with Ingrid and Sharon.
Watched 1 lecture of the Teaching Company course “The Early Middle Ages” every night.
What I have not done: written a post. But I will soon, I promise. As soon as the opening of this show is over.
Busy lady. Oh, you’ve been to Vancouver! I would have loved to have seen you. And do tell us more about your show. Enjoy the opening, I wish I could be there. Lots of photos, please.
Vancouver sounds like a good place to me somehow. Only doing cooking everyday sounds a bit boring.
Actually they all sound more interesting than what I’ve been doing–except for hanging out the wash and watering vegetables. I’ve been doing those.
Anne: You make me feel like a lazy layabout.
I got tired just reading about all your activities. My post would read; sat in front of the computer all day. Ran the dishwasher once. (When you don’t cook, once a week is enough.) Let the repair man in to get my phone working. Went to bed. Read a book. Watched TV at night. Got the mail every day. Made one trip to the grocery store. Had a friend for lunch once. PERIOD. How pathetic is that?
Anne:
You are one amazing woman. No wonder no time for blogpost, hang one a minute you just did one!!
good luck with the show my dear. Pics of some of your wonders.

I’m glad that the hour I spent in the garden in a comfortable chair with my book preceded the reading of this balanced catalogue of worthy and worthwhile activities, Anne!
Never a dull moment for you.
I’d love to hang out the laundry! Need to get that pole up soon.
Busy hands etc… My sisters are on Whidbey Island as I type! I spent 17 days in OR and Washington State and had a marvelous time. Did you see me waving to you?
you stay busy – I do too – time goes by so quickly.
Oh boy, you’ve been busy. I wonder if we might have passed each other in Vancouver, as I was up there for a quick 3 days myself in the past week….
Pictures of your pictures in the show, Anne?
This is a post. 🙂
